“Clear your diary for Queen’s birthday weekend: June 3rd - 6th and start rounding up your crew (or your fine self) for the hui!” reads the Kazam! Facebook page.
Jack Trolove, the regional coordinator at Rainbow Youth is busy visiting groups across the country, speaking to young people and gathering ideas about how to make Kazam! the best queer youth hui that Aotearoa has ever seen.
The hui invites takatapui, queer and trans young people from across the country to come along. The page reads: “KAZAM! is a chance to focus on who we are, how we connect and how we become stronger through understanding our differences. It’s a chance to start weaving an awesome national network for takatapui, queer and trans youth.
What better way to spend Queens birthday weekend than with other takatapui, fa'afafine, fakaleiti, intersex, transgender, queer, gender queer, a-sexual, lesbian, gay and bisexual young people- as well as all of us gorgeous folk not sure or happily in between.”
They’re calling for anyone interested in helping to organize the event, MC, create workshops, perform, facilitate, be a tech-person, run sports activities or be involved in any other way to get in touch with Jack with your ideas.
Plus! Anyone interested in coming along should register today on the Rainbow Youth Website: http://www.rainbowyouth.org.nz/kazam

Got new information about KAZAM, which was never known. It’s a good chance given to the people which help to know about everyone.
